About Equine
Guided Learning
Equine Guided Learning is a method which employs horses to interact
with humans guided by a facilitator. This interaction can enhance the
emotional, social, physical and spiritual well-being of the participants. It
is a gentle, freeing experience that defies logic and results occur like
gravity as a truth of the universe, regardless of your beliefs.
Horses are powerful therapeutic teachers. These creatures have an
extraordinary ability to activate self-awareness in humans by mirroring
denied, buried, or incongruent feelings. It is the horse’s natural gift to
reawaken and strengthen human self trust. This is done within a non-verbal
interaction that emotionally transforms experienced equestrians and novices
alike.
The Benefits
of this Work
All persons interested in accessing their true way of being can benefit.
Those who have a desire to enhance sensory awareness, intuition, mind/heart
connection, creative expression and to integrate the qualities of body, mind
and spirit, will thrive with this particular kind of work. Those who already
own horses can learn to connect with them on a deeper more authentic level.
Heart rhythms affect health, well being, and the brains ability to process
information including decision making, problem solving and creativity.
Increased awareness and connection with your heart can improve mental
clarity and emotional stability. We believe horses assist us in listening to
our heart rhythms and slowing them down to a healthier state.
At Horse’s Way Equestrian Arts we have witnessed that connecting with horses
guided by a facilitator has the potential to promote healing through the
ability to recognize when we are emotionally congruent. We invite you to
discover your inner world, open your heart, and honor the unique gifts
you’ve been given. You will embrace the wisdom of your emotions, empathic
abilities and authentic untapped potential.
